Kahani Records is an independent label and production house founded by husband-and-wife duo Banjii & Mayuri, whose music is available on streaming platforms under the same name.
Banjii (Jason Kenney), the CEO of Kahani Records, hails from Appalachia, USA, and is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. Over his career, he has released four acclaimed albums, including works with the Kenney Blackmon String Band and Homegrown Revival.
Joining him as co-owner is his wife Mayuri Joshi, a singer-songwriter and Indian classical dancer from Pune, India. She is a seasoned business strategist with over a decade of experience advising Fortune 500 companies. Together, they bring a unique blend of artistic creativity and strategic expertise to Kahani Records.
The couple’s award-winning project, “Uncommon Love Story by Banjii & Mayuri”, is a seven-part music video series.
